Case Study: Infocus

InFocus Corporation are pioneers, they are after all the first inventors of the digital projector, and thereafter the first interactive whiteboard with touch technology. InFocus are based in Oregon, USA but have offices and employees all over the world.

Today, InFocus provides end-to-end display and videoconferencing solutions from video phones to projectors, interactive touchscreens, video conferencing display walls, software, cloud services, tablets and accessories and collaboration products that enable anyone to see and connect – anywhere.

Midas Selection have a strong affinity with the AV sector due in no small part to one of our team having worked within the channel as an AV specialist. We reached out to InFocus offering our services and were asked to identify and find talent for a range of EMEA vacancies including channel managers and country managers.

Some of the key challenges were centred on the selection process with people being coordinated across different continents and time zones, nevertheless we still managed to source and fill the roles inside 4 weeks.

We sourced the successful talent via a blended method of candidate attraction tools, including social media and advertising cross different European states, and direct headhunt approaches.
