Location – Southport – Hybrid working after training

Role

An opportunity has arisen for a credit controller. The role will include the following duties: -

Managed customer accounts and monitored outstanding balances.

Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve queries

Credit check and process new account forms

Chased overdue payments and reduced bad debt.

Resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes.

Prepared regular reports on debt, cash flow, and credit risk.

Ensured compliance with company credit policies and UK regulations.

Cover colleague’s workload in their absence

Person

The ideal candidate will have the following: -

Previous experience in credit control (desirable)

Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge/experience

Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills

Financial awareness

Collaborative and flexible

Good attention to detail
