Business Development Manager – Public Sector Software
£45,000 Basic and c£90,000 OTE plus car and bens
To cover North of England – Leeds, Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, Nottingham, Derby, Bradford, York, Hull, Sheffield, Bolton, Huddersfield, Stoke, Doncaster, Blackpool.
This is a great sales opportunity with a leading provider of document management software that has multiple framework agreements in place with public sector bodies. It is a large organisation with Market leading SaaS solutions. The end user profile is wide reaching, and this creates huge scope and opportunity.
The sales role is to focus on customer acquisition and winning new opportunities within the public sector, you will be prospecting with local authorities and councils with examples being Schools, Hospitals and Housing Associations to name a few. Any medium to large scale department will have a need for their document management software solutions, this could be a finance department with high volumes of invoices or tax offices sending statements and bills.
Any technology solution to the public sector. Firstly, we want a “can do” and driven personality and a sales professional that is a hunter. This is not back breaking business development, but the focus is on new clients and new orders due to the expanse of opportunity in the North of England. Secondly, we would like to see experience of selling some sort of technology solution (hardware or software) into the public sector. This might be AV solutions into schools, or ERP or CRM software to the public sector, or even voice and data solutions, or even MPS to the public sector.
