
Euravia is a specialist aviation company providing high quality, cost effective maintenance, repair and overhaul services for a wide range of gas turbine engines. Following a period of fantastic growth Euravia was brought in 2015 by Magellan Aerospace who are a global mulit-billion-pound company who recognised the potential with the UK based organisation.
Euravia were instantly tasked with continuing the outstanding growth they’ve been achieving in recent years but to do this through re-invigorating existing accounts as well as securing new business. The company took the decision to further develop their sales function with the search on for an experienced Business Development Manager.
The Aerospace & Defence team at Midas had highlighted Magellan Aerospace as a potential key client due to the continuous international recruitment across the key areas covered by the Aerospace & Defence division, these being Sales, Engineering & Executive.
Euravia had been working with a number of recruitment partners who had struggled to meet the niche skill set and location that Euravia needed the candidate to comply with. Dean Cotterill (Managing Consultant for Aerospace & Defence) held several calls with the UK HR Manager resulting in an agreement to partner on a Business Development Manager vacancy seen as instrumental to the company achieving its growth targets.
Midas Selection partnered on the position for a total of 17 working days. During this period Euravia received a total of six relevant CV’s all based within a commutable distance to the facility which was key on this project. Of the six submitted four candidates were invited for interview highlighting the detail in which Midas Selection operate when partnering on a position.
We successfully filled the requirement with Euravia and again proved our time to hire statistics are very strong due to the strength of our candidate networks and sector understanding. All parties were obviously delighted, and our Aerospace & Defence division will continue to assist Euravia with their ongoing hiring needs.
