Production Planner – Manufacturing
Location: Telford
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Monday – Thursday – 7:30am – 4.45pm
Friday – 7:30am – 12:00pm
25 Days holiday plus bank holidays

We are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Production Planner. This is a new role and key within the organisation, supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations by ensuring production schedules, resources, and materials are aligned to meet customer demand and operational targets.
The Role
As Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities across multiple projects, ensuring efficient use of labour, materials, and equipment. You will work closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to maintain smooth workflows and respond effectively to changes in demand or supply.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production plans
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material and resource availability
• Monitor capacity, workflow, and resource utilisation
• Adjust schedules to manage demand changes, delays, or supply constraints
• Track production performance and highlight risks to delivery timelines
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and manufacturing

About You
• Proven experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
