Field Service Engineer – Commercial Coffee Equipment

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Overtime

Are you an experienced Coffee Machine Engineer or Vending Engineer looking to join a growing, well-established business where you can work with premium commercial coffee equipment?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, family-run commercial coffee business with over 40 years of industry experience.

Due to continued growth, the company is strengthening its engineering team and is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover North & East London and the surrounding Home Counties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being trusted to manage their own territory, working directly with customers and developing their technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial coffee equipment.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of technical support to customers across your territory.

Your responsibilities will include:

Service, maintenance and repair of commercial coffee machines
Installation and commissioning of new equipment
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
Identifying root causes and helping prevent repeat breakdowns
Carrying out boiler inspections
Ordering and fitting replacement components
Processing warranty parts efficiently
Providing excellent customer service while attending client sites
Working closely with the Service & Technical Manager and wider engineering team
Supporting customers across hospitality, workplace, retail and leisure environments
What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer within commercial coffee or vending
Experience servicing and repairing commercial coffee machines
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
Experience across multiple commercial coffee machine brands would be advantageous
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
A genuine interest in coffee and commercial coffee equipment
A full UK driving licence

PSSR training would be advantageous but is not essential.
