THE COMPANY:
We are a market leader in contract manufacturing, established for over 50 years.
With a multi million pounds turnover and future growth plans – we have grown extensively due to providing an extensive bespoke product range alongside a high level of service to our customers.
We specialise in own brand manufacturing across a wide range of ambient product ranges.
This is achieved through working specifically to client brief and working in partnership with our comprehensive network of global suppliers.
Our products are supplied by Foodservice wholesaler across the UK and are found in many hospitality establishments across all areas including restaurants, pubs, contract catering, healthcare and education.
We are fortunate to have a National Accounts team with a high level of experience in our field – and due to sustained growth post pandemic, are seeking a strong NAM to add to our team to help us to manage existing clients and also to support with our growth plans.
THE ROLE:
This position is an exciting opportunity within our commercial team.
You will be working closely with the senior sales team to work on projects and provide ongoing support to our clients.
These clients are all within the Food (FMCG and Foodservice) sector so the role is foodie in nature with a commercial bias.
The role is varied and involves areas including assisting the NAM team with admin support, supporting with presentations and exhibitions, involvement in support with pricing and updating product lists, liaising with procurement/purchasing on tender projects, data gathering and analysis and updating the CRM system.
As a result, each day is very different and the role requires a varied skillset in addition to providing excellent exposure to different areas for personal development.
There are strong career progression opportunities through this role with the potential for the position to develop into a National Accounts position for candidates keen to forge a career in this area.
However, for candidates who enjoy the admin/support side of the role this is a stable and long term position within our organisation.
THE APPLICANT:
We are seeking to speak to candidates with strong experience in an internal office support capacity.
• Candidates must be from an office support background and have strong analytical and customer service skills
• Backgrounds could involve experience in areas such as Sales admin, commercial support, customer service, sales support or inventory management.
• Candidates must have strong IT skills and in particular be proficient in EXCEL.
• Candidates with experience within the Food industry (either FMCG or Foodservice) would be beneficial although not essential.
• Candidates must be effective team players and comfortable in an office based role.
