Commercial Catering Service Engineer – Leinster

An established and highly regarded commercial catering equipment company is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Catering Service Engineer to join its service team covering the Leinster region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a long-standing industry leader with almost 50 years’ experience delivering commercial foodservice solutions and working on high-profile projects throughout Ireland.

The Role

Working predominantly in the field, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing and commissioning a wide range of commercial catering equipment at customer sites throughout Leinster.

Key responsibilities include:

Installing and commissioning new commercial catering equipment
Servicing, maintaining and repairing existing equipment
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
Troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying root causes
Working directly with customers to provide a professional and reliable service
Participating in a shared out-of-hours/on-call service rota
Working independently while also supporting the wider service team
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background. You should have:

A relevant electrical qualification
Previous mechanical and electrical engineering experience
Experience with commercial catering equipment is highly desirable
A working knowledge of basic plumbing
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
A full, clean driving licence
A cooperative and professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
Safe Pass is advantageous but not essential
