Location: We are looking to speak with candidates based across the East & Central Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Leicester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridge, Peterborough, and the surrounding areas.
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Company
Our client is a market-leading provider of calibration services, supporting customers across the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Field Calibration Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.

The Role
As a Field Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a wide range of electrical and electronic test and measurement equipment at customer sites across the East & Central Midlands.
Your work will be planned 4–6 weeks in advance, allowing for a well-organised schedule and realistic workload. The role includes a mixture of single-site visits and larger planned projects within manufacturing facilities, laboratories, and hospitals, with occasional travel outside the region when required.

Key Responsibilities
• Calibrate a wide range of electrical and electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Produce accurate calibration certificates and complete all service documentation.
• Ensure calibration work is completed in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve calibration methods and testing processes.
• Liaise with internal repair technicians and administration teams to ensure an efficient service.
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
• Manage your own workload and maintain excellent communication with customers and colleagues.

Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous experience within calibration, instrumentation, or electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
• A full UK driving licence.
