The frustrations of the daily commute…
The daily commute to work; what frustrates you? According to a recent survey of 2000 Britons, one of the biggest frustrations was bad weather and train cancellations. Other frustrations on the daily commute to work included selfish passengers, with bags left on seats a real pet hate.
The research, carried out by Vita Coco, also found that 86% surveyed late running services frustrated them the most, whilst 79% couldn’t stand the heat on the London Underground, especially during the summer months. Sixty-nine percent of people found being forced to stand frustrating, whilst 5 percent found strangers trying to engage in conversation annoying.
With drivers, 46% found bicycles annoying. 71% of commuters found queuing for tickets annoying. In 2017, 34,000 UK adults were surveyed; it was found commute times of more than 30 minutes were responsible for damaging workers’ productivity and health.
