According to a university study in London having noisy work colleagues infuriates many people.
The study found that chatter, chewing loudly, coughing, whistling and mobile phone chimes were some of the most irksome office sounds. With more and more offices now being open plan, the findings can have implications on work performance, and ultimately the bottom line.
