The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Development Chef to join an established contract catering provider, specialising in delivering high-quality school meals that fuel young minds and promote healthy living. This is a brand-new role, working with the Head of Food, transforming the catering offering whilst implementing fresh, innovative ideas to roll out across menus within schools, elevating lunch times.

The Role
As Development Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the company. You will be the creative culinary force, introducing new exciting, complaint, and cost-effective dishes that reflect current food trends. You will collaborate with the Catering teams across the regions to ensure the delivery of the highest standards of food quality, embracing a culture of both creativity and compliance.

The ideal applicant
We are looking for a Development Chef with culinary flair, someone with personality who can deliver memorable training and engage with both adults and pupils. You will have previous experience of catering within the education sector as well as menu development, training and developing your colleagues. You will be compliant with the necessary regulations, laws, nutrition, and due diligence. Accuracy with your costings is also essential.
