The Company
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer or mechanically minded technician looking for a new challenge in the coffee industry? We are a leading manufacturer of commercial coffee machines, supplying premium equipment to cafés, restaurants, hotels, and offices across the UK. Due to continued growth, we're now looking to add a skilled engineer to cover Central London and the M25 area.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering first-class service and technical support to our customers. Your day-to-day will involve:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial coffee machines
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults on-site
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and call-outs
• Managing van stock and completing service reports
• Providing excellent customer service and building rapport with clients
This is a field-based role with full technical support, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within a well-established brand in the hospitality sector.
The Person
We're looking for someone with hands-on technical experience and a background in one of the following areas:
• Coffee machine engineering (bean-to-cup, traditional espresso, etc.)
• Commercial catering equipment
• Electro-mechanical systems
• Plumbing / water dispensers / hot taps
• Military or forces engineering roles
You’ll also need:
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication
• The ability to work independently in the field
