SALARY: Up to £30k DOE
LOCATION: Portsmouth
THE COMPANY:
We are working with a well-established and respected seafood business that has been supplying premium fish and seafood products to restaurants, hotels, and foodservice businesses across the South for over 25 years. As the company continues to grow, they are now seeking a skilled Fish Filleter to join their Portsmouth-based team.

WORKING HOURS:
• Initially Monday to Friday day shifts, transitioning to permanent night shifts
• Flexibility required depending on production demands
DUTIES:
• Efficiently fillet a variety of fresh fish species to high commercial standards
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, hygienically, and in line with company policies
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and assist with general hygiene tasks in the production area
• Work to daily production targets and deadlines
• Assist with packing, labelling, and quality checking as required
• Report any issues with stock or machinery promptly to supervisors
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience in fish filleting, ideally within a commercial or food production environment
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Strong awareness of food hygiene and safety procedures
• A flexible and reliable approach to work
• Willingness to work night shifts once initial training is complete
