THE COMPANY:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the global market leaders in potato products to the foodservice sector.
We are one of the largest manufacturers of potato products globally and currently hold a significant market share within Europe.
Established for almost 50 years we have continually proved ourselves to have a strong ranged based on competitive pricing but most of all consistently high quality of produce.
Through our European new product development team we are able to implement an innovative approach to the market both in relation to nutrition and current market buying trends.
Our innovative and forward thinking marketing team allow us to effectively promote our brands across all channels, both independently and in partnership with our clients.
We have demonstrated strong success across the Foodservice sector and have ambitious plans to develop further in the next 12 months.


THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a wholesale account base within one of most established and growing business area.
Our products are particularly popular across ethnic OOH wholesalers, particularly those that supply to Chinese and oriental takeaways.
The quality of our products alongside strong price point mean has resulted in a volume of excellent relationships in this sector.
This role involves managing these relationships and further growing spend within this account base.
There will also be a small element of new business and developing relationships with new distributors to this sector – although we genuinely work with the major players in this market currently.


THE APPLICANT.
The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional from within the Foodservice/OOH Sector.

• Candidates must have a proven track record of sales within the Foodservice sector.

• Experience of selling products via wholesale or distribution will also be welcomed.

• Candidates can be from a Foodservice wholesale or Foodservice Manufacturer background.

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of managing listing, negotiation and P&L responsibility.

• Candidates from a NAM/KAM background are of particular interest, although we will also consider candidates from a Regional Foodservice background looking for a step up the career ladder.
