What are the significance of Daffodils at Midas Selection?

Did you know that the Daffodil is the flower of choice at Midas Selection? Why?

It all goes back 20+ years. Nathan, Managing Director and Founder of Midas Selection, decided to branch out on his own.

Nathan planted a selection of Daffodil bulbs, and whilst planting them in the November, with the business due to officially start in the January, he said to himself “By the time these bloom, I will either have made a success of my business, or I will have failed, these next 4-5 months are going to be very interesting”

4 or 5 months later, the daffodils bloomed, and Nathan had been successful – employing 4 Consultants, whilst developing a client base and building the first few bricks of Midas Selection.

Nathan says – “Every year I look at Daffodils with a smile, and this is why I always buy a bunch for the office at this time of year, they are a reminder of what we achieved, and the equal measure of fear and excitement that drove us on in that first year.”

So next time you see a Daffodil, think of your goals, and do everything you can to achieve them.
